Chore Pad: Chores & Rewards, Beautifully Themed App Reviews

This is a pretty good app and has some good features. The added features that would make it a great app would be a "parent approve" option that lets the children put a check mark on the chores but the parents can choose to approve. Also, Id love it if there was a separate category for behaviors...Ive added behaviors on this app but they are mixed in with the chores and Id like the ability to separate them.

All chores are show at once I need some to be every other day but what days very. Would be nice to be able to chose the start day for them.

This app is really cute but I am worried about my daughter being able to modify some things since it is synced onto her phone as well. I am worried that she can delete a reward payout and get her stars back even if she already was given her reward and have other concerns as well. It would be really super if there was a parent account that could reward bonus stars without the child being able to, mark if a reward had been paid so those stars would be gone forever, and if parents could make it so the child could check the chores off but the parent could mark to confirm it was actually done. If you add those features you will have a five star app for sure! It would also be nice to be able to award more than 10 stars for each chore, I think a child seeing they got 100 stars would look better to them than 10, even if the parent set it to only equal what 10 was worth before.

Just bought this and love it! The only thing I could suggest is to provide an option to assign chores to morning, afternoon, and evening. This would help in setting routines with younger kids. If you can provide that feature, I would most definitely give this five stars.

Great app! My kids like this and its easy to set up and use.

My son likes the free version, so I upgraded to the full version and I was having some technical issues, but it turns out it was user error. :) I emailed support and got a response back that day explaining how to upgrade my account. Most importantly, my 8 year old cleans up his room and makes his bed every day now.

I love the app. Its great way to organize and motivate. I also love being able to load the app on my kids devices and sync them all. The only glitch Ive found is when Im assigning chores to days, Saturday doesnt show on the list to check or uncheck and then it always assigns Saturday automatically. This needs to be fixed.

My 6 year old came running toy room at 5:30am dressed, he told me he made his bed, brushed and flossed and asked if he could read a book... Yes, this app 100% works, has changed my entire family!!!!!

Too difficult to set up- cumbersome app. Good in theory, but not at all helpful. Tutorial isnt easy to understand - written by tech people, not parents. Please refund.

This has been so helpful in keeping my house running smoothly. Works great for both my children- and they love adding their check marks upon completion of a task and watching their stars grow so they can obtain their prize. Great motivation for them!

This works really really well. I find that I am much more consistent as a parent since Im not looking for dippy star stickers or trying to remember how many stickers mean what reward. Awesome!!

I love this app. Chores can be assigned points and a reward set for doing them. Some are everyday chores...make bed, clean up after yourself at meals...some are chores that are worth more...trim the hedges, rake leaves etc etc. My only wish is that the point system went higher than 10 but otherwise....its perfect!

We have been using this app for several years and have found it very useful. When my kids were young we would use it to motivate good behavior. Now that they are older, we use it for chores around the house. My one suggestion would be regarding the passcode restrictions. I would prefer if my kids could only enter check marks for the current day and that for past or future dates it would have the option to require a passcode.

App pad has so many tools to help my kids and its great that I dont have to touch it for my kids to get stars. It has two modes which Is very handy to keep my kids off of the parental controls. I can give chore pad few suggestions suggestion number 1 make it so that when a kid earns a trophy. They have to get at minimal 1 rewards. Suggestion number 2 to make it so ( this is not necessary but) once a kid earns a reward he can be linked over to a video game app. Overall Its a amazing app and thanks chore pad

Great app, I love it, my kids love it. They are eager to get their stars and cleaning gets done along with it. I already recommended this app to my friends who are parents n they are liking it too. This app is a must download!

Im very impressed with this app. It has a very nice clean appearance--not cluttered or too much to take in but yet not lacking. My kids (6-17 years old) really like it, its easy to set up and use for all on different devices, and has been a great motivator and way to be accountable for all of us. Even I am using it! I do think itd be nice to have more backgrounds to choose from (although there are quite a few) and an ability to see what has been paid out and when (a record kept). Thank you for a great app! (I have used others...and this one has worked the best!)

This app is very easy to use and it is a great way to keep track of the kids chores and rewards.

Ive been using this app for the past couple days and the kids love it! Theyve been getting their chores done in record timing. I have 4 kids using this app, ages 8, 7, 5 & 3. The youngest cares a little about it, but I think that might just be his personality. The key for me is figuring out the right rewards.

We bought this app last week to try and encourage better behavior and make everyday chores become routine tasks. My 3 children (ages 3-8) have done great. Its helped keep their rooms clean and encouraged better behavior. They have already earned an ice cream night and are on their way to earning an amusement park trip. Thanks!!

Extremely cumbersome to use. Does not keep track of rewards, you have to do it manually.
